A progressive refurbishment of the iconic tower building on Broadway has seen a strong identity revamped with a contemporary workplace for the administrative and allied functions of the University of Technology Sydney.

This component of the refurbishment strategy allows for central shared services containing reception, training, function and breakout spaces together with flexible shared work areas. Selection of finishes and furniture were based on a neutral colour palette and minimal use of colour. The layout is based upon University space guidelines and includes a combination of loose furniture from our European and Australian design offering. Catifa 46 barstools, 5 way castor chairs and the Catifa 80 low lounge by Arper, Keith Melbourne’s Australian designed and manufactured Blue lounges and custom Stylus tables by Stylecraft are all included in the product mix.

With the design team of Lacoste + Stevenson’s, Daryl Jackson Robin Dyke and Six Degrees the concept to be light, transparent and open was a successful initiative in differentiating from your typical university space
