Gray Puksand completed the design of the new Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) headquarters at 140 William St, bringing the legal community together across multiple levels. The design is a celebration of the Institute’s role as an integral part of the legal community and platform for the sharing of knowledge.

One level hosts a legal bookstore, members library and lounge with dedicated learning and training spaces; all connected by a concierge reception lobby. Another provides LIV employees with generous workspace areas, a kitchen breakout area and centralised meeting rooms.

Gray Puksand’s selection of furniture focused on Australian designed and manufactured product, with the Adapt Curve Lounge and Lounge by Ross Gardam featured in various open areas, alongside Adapt Occasional Tables and Noon Tables. Rix and Nub Armchairs by ESO as occasional chairs provide a bold colour statement. Italian brands Arper and SIPA, also feature, with the Tommy Stool in the kitchen area and Catifa 46 and 53 Chairs as meeting room chairs.
