Celebrating International Women's Day 2021

This week as we celebrate International Women’s Day, we show appreciation to our incredible colleagues, friends, sisters, partners, mothers and daughters. In 2021, Stylecraft are focusing on the achievements of the women that surround us, starting with some of those on our team. Each of these women have experienced a unique career journey and accomplishments at Stylecraft - and in life.

Join us as we gain an insight into what inspires and drives these key team members in varied roles, locations and experiences.

Louise Courtice
Managing Director, Singapore

Louise’s journey at Stylecraft began in Perth in Sales and then a Sales Management role. Following 4 years based in WA, in 2015, Louise relocated to Singapore and took on the role of Singapore Manager. In the last two years, Louise has returned from maternity leave and has been promoted to Managing Director of Singapore.

Louise is the first female Director to be appointed at Stylecraft.

What is your greatest achievement in your time at Stylecraft?

My greatest achievement so far I can definitely say is being promoted to Managing Director in Singapore. Sitting on the executive team at Stylecraft is such a huge honour in itself, and to be the first female makes it that much more special. This achievement is the one in my career I’m most proud of.

Who has inspired you across your career?

Definitely my colleagues within Stylecraft, there are so many amazing leaders within our company, there is always someone to learn from. Also within our industry in SG, there are some powerhouse women in business here, leading and growing their firms to massive global scales. I find this super inspiring in what can still be a very male dominated industry in Asia.

As a female company director and much respected leader at Stylecraft, what is your best advice to women starting out in their careers?

Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and take every opportunity that comes to you. Go for that job, put your hand up, speak up, show up – you never know what will be around the corner and how that could change the course of your life!
