Ritzwell’s offering of sleek, contemporary furniture with a reference to Japanese tradition and craftsmanship expands in 2019 with the introduction of the JK Easy Chair. Originally forming part of Ritzwell’s initial offering during the brand’s inception, the easy chair has been reissued and updated with new finish options for the graphic steel frame, including metallic bronze and brass. The design by Jun Kamahara features hand stitching on the armrests, a generous leather seat, and soft backrest cushions providing harmony between the elements. The JK Side Table range consists of a solid walnut top with upwards curving edges for a square version, or bevelled edge as a circular option, to complete the JK collection.
Winner of a Red Dot Design Award in 2018, the Jabara Sideboard collection is enhanced by the addition of a Jabara AV model, allowing for audiovisual equipment to be elegantly housed behind a dark, tinted glass door. Available in various sizes and compositions, the mild steel legs of the Jabara range are also now available in the new powdercoat options for Ritzwell, complementing Jabara’s distinct sliding tambour doors.
Stua’s Salone del Mobile stand for 2019 features striking backlit floral motifs, providing a frame for the brand’s sophisticated collections and evoking a sense of calm. The Spanish brand, renowned for their elegant Salone del Mobile stands, presented their classic and refined ranges including the Costura Lounge, Solapa Tables, Laclasica Chairs and the most recent addition, the Libera Armchair.
The Libera Armchair, previewed at Salone del Mobile 2018, has been refined this year for manufacture with a tapered backrest and continued focus upon the smoothness of the distinct timber armrests. The classic silhouette and fluid way in which the legs and armrests connect is reflective of Stua’s brand ethos.
