Melbourne Open Day

Melbourne Open Day

On June 22nd our doors were opened to our new Melbourne showroom and the official launch of our residential brand, StylecraftHOME

We recently celebrated the official launch of our new Melbourne showroom and the introduction of StylecraftHOME with an Open Day at our renovated Flinders Lane building. The event was an opportunity for the architecture and design community to view the dramatic five floor showroom transformation which showcases expanded collections from our local and international brands.

Throughout the day guests enjoyed catering and coffee by Blake’s Feast, music courtesy of our sound partners Bang & Olufsen, together with a branded wayfinding experience in the form of a typography takeover on the stairwell by artist Leona Fietz.

The highly anticipated opening of Stylecraft’s residential brand, StylecraftHOME, was a major talking point and drawcard. Designed by HASSELL, the space captured the imagination of guests with statement colour, the rust toned arches and contrasting gold railing and greenery. Lounging ranges by Italian brands Tacchini and Verzelloni as well as Australian designed and manufactured lighting and lounging by Melbourne designer Ross Gardam welcomed guests upon entry to HOME. The lower ground features ‘The Den & Kitchen’ area, showcasing collections from Japanese brands Ritzwell and Karimoku New Standard, the Cloud lounge by Croatian brand Prostoria alongside pieces by Australian brand Skeehan Studio.

Guests also previewed the art collections which are currently exhibiting in HOME. A series of aerial photographs taken in Western Australia by Brisbane based photographer Cieran Murphy for his Wankgathaa photo series, and the Calpe photo series by photographer Joshua Maguire.

Levels 1 and 2 of the building, designed by Geyer, showcase Stylecraft’s commercial offering and agile workplace range. The high ceilings and arch windows of the heritage listed building create a striking platform to present collections from Arper, Stua, Prostoria and more. An agile based working environment on Level 2 allowed visitors to experience what it would be like to work in a flexible space that includes modular lounging, contemporary workstation configurations and adaptable storage solutions. Ranges from LEN, Keith Melbourne, ThinkingWorks, Derlot and Cascando feature on this level.

Thank you to all that joined us on the day and congratulations to Brittany Pearce from Woods Bagot, the winner of the Zoe Lounge by Verzelloni!
