Developing and nurturing design talent in Australia has been at the core of Stylecraft for over 20 years. Not only are we committed to Australian design and the growth of local talent, we are committed to working with local manufacturers, craftsman and artisans.
Our strong history of working with Australian designers began with the launch of the Box and Case collection, designed by Cornwell Hecker almost 20 years ago. The collection has stood the test of time and to this day these pieces remain some of our leading ranges. As a result of this success Stylecraft went onto work with and nurture Australian design talents such as Alexander Lotersztain, Ross Gardam, Keith Melbourne, Helen Kontouris.
There is an estimated 200,000 Australians employed by the local furniture industry from timber workers, to skilled artisans, manufacturers and craftsman from family businesses through to large organisations. We are proud to work with leaders and specialists in their fields to bring to market quality furniture and lighting suitable for today’s commercial and residential environments.
The benefits of Australian design and manufactured products lie beyond quality and contributing to our local economy. Our local offering offers the ability to achieve shorter lead times, high levels of customisation and the opportunity to work closely with the designer.
Our offering of home grown collections and commitment to nurturing local design continues to grow. The coming year will see new lighting, accessories and modular furniture introduced to the offering.
Stylecraft is passionate about original, local design and investing in people who share this belief.
