At Stylecraft, we are neutralising our carbon emissions and helping to slow global warming by purchasing green energy credits through Climate Friendly™.

Our greenhouse credits will support new renewable energy projects, which will counter our greenhouse gas emissions.

What it all means

The carbon credits Climate Friendly™ purchase on our behalf come only from accredited and new renewable energy projects. Which means when you buy credits through Climate Friendly, you are not only neutralising your own emissions, but you are also contributing to the growth of the renewable energy industry, which is the long-term solution for global warming.

What are our credits being spent on?
Renewable energy

All of the projects Climate Friendly™ choose to support use renewable, also known as clean energy, which means energy produced without pollution. For every megawatt generated by a renewable energy site, there is one unit of coal power that was never generated. So not only does renewable energy not add to global warming, in enough quantities it can help to slow it.

Climate Friendly™ only support genuine sustainable energy projects with undisputed climate benefits that build a long-term solution to climate change. These include:

    * wind
    * solar electric (PV)
    * solar thermal
    * micro hydro (low-impact)
    * geothermal
    * ecologically sound biomass
    * biogas, biofuels, and landfill gas to energy.

How can you help stop global warming?

We probably can't stop global warming, but one way to slow it is to reduce our carbon emissions - turning off appliances, cycling or walking more, using less power. But if we go one step further, and neutralise our emissions by purchasing carbon credits from renewable energy projects, we can help the renewable energy industry grow, put more renewable, clean energy into the power grid, and really make a difference to global warming. This is the embodiment of the Climate Friendly™ philosophy: Reduce, Renew and Neutralise.
