IDEA AWARDS 2011 | Melbourne
The IDEA Gala Party was held in Melbourne on Friday November 25. Hosted inside the galleries of the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) this year’s event hosted over 500 members of the Australian design industry for the awards presentation.
This year’s IDEA attracted a record number of 416 entries across all catagories, submitted by designers and practices from across Australia. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, and to the designers and judges who help make IDEA such a successful awards program in Australia.
A special congratulations goes to the winners and highly commended designers of the Stylecraft sponsored catagory, Major Commercial. Both the highly commended and winning designers were in this instance BVN Architecture with their Aecom Brisbane project being awarded the top honours, and BVN Sydney Studio the commendation.
